The RM-WireCut3D is a CNC cutter machine for expanded polyurethane with abrasive wire cutting system. It is a machine created to cut large blocks of material ready to make production in series.

WHAT YOU CAN CUT WITH RM-WIRECUT3D

The abrasive wire cutting system allows you to cut polyurethane foam and all those soft materials such as gums and resins that can not be milled or cut by blade.

The main materials that the RM-WireCut3D can cut are: latex, rock wool, expanded resins, foams, EPS and XPS polystyrene, others.

The work volume has been designed to load large blocks of material and make production in series.

ABRASIVE CUTTING SYSTEM AND STRUCTURE

The innovative abrasive wire technology gives you the ability to cut a wide range of materials. The wire rotation system allows you to make sharp and precise cuts and adjust the cutting speed depending on the material. The heavy machined aluminium structure makes the RM-WireCut3D machine extremely compact and robust, and the laminate worktop can withstand very heavy loads of material.

SAFETY SYSTEM AND CONTROL CONSOL

The protection system keeps you from unexpected evacuations of materials, also thanks to the monitoring system the operatore cannot enter into the work area during the cutting process. 

The control console for industrial environments allows you to manage all processing parameters: You can set up the machine, align the blocks and also you can start machining directly from the manual controls.

  • 4200 x 2700 mm (1300 mm axis Z)

RM-WireCut3D comes with the XMC 4.0 PoliCut which is our CNC software for wire cutting machines. We have created “XMC 4.0 PoliCut” compatible with the Windows operating system so that you can easily install it without needing a dedicated operating system. 

The simple and intuitive interface allows you to start working right away and to have all the main processing parameters under control. “XMC 4.0 PoliCut” provides 5 types of wire cutting operations that are capable to utilize all the features of the RM-PoliCut3D machine.

2D CUTTING

Thanks to the simple import of the DXF file your hot wire cutter will be able to make two-dimensional cuts right away. Our CNC software will automatically calculate interconnection points, junctions, and outputs.

2D HOT WIRE CUTTING + TURNING TABLE

The 2D cutting technique will allow you to create symmetric 3D silhouettes by combining the 2D cut with the rotating plate of the machine.

You can achieve symmetrical 3D solid without having to work with complicated 3D CAD software – you just need to sketch the section profile and the software will do the rest. XMC 4.0 allows you to handle twisting during the cutting process and during the input and output procedures.

2D HOT WIRE CUTTING + LATHE

The 2D cutting technique plus the lathe function will allow you to create symmetrical three-dimensional objects of varying length.

With this feature you can cut 3D solids without having to draw with complicated 3D CAD software.

INDEPENDENT AXES CUTTING

XMC 4.0 can handle the X1Y1 axes on the right and X2Y2 on the left side in an absolutely independent way.

This cutting mode will allow you to create different profiles and obtain: bevel-shaped templates, projection letters and tilted cuts on irregular geometries.

You can directly import the complex 3D silhouette file and easily send it to work.

3D HOT WIRE CUTTING

XMC 4.0 PoliCut manages non-symmetrical 3D cutting projects.

By setting the three-dimensional cut mode, you can import an STL 3D model and process the 3D file in 2 different modes:

  • The CNC software divides the solid into slices of configurable thickness and the machine will take care of the realization of the object.
  • The solid is divided into a number of sections that has been preset. You will be able to choose the number of sections in which the solid is divided and then you can start working in conjunction with the rotating plate.
